We rent the Traditional Booth, Green Screen Photo Booth where you select the background & Videobooth, to make your picture look, just how you want it to be. We also have other options like Custom Printed backdrop’s (Red Carpet event),etc.

We’re known for our customizable print layout. We design the print to how you want it. Just give us a list of your favorite things and we design it for you.

What Sets Us Apart:
The “booth” is totally free for guests and self-serve (theres just one huge glowing red button to push) – no photographers/no egos.

Instead of delivering prints, the photos get projected around the venue for all to see – after the event we then post them on facebook or privately on our site

All the pictures get taken in front of a green screen, which we chroma-key out and composite any number of background images in its place

Last but not least, we do some cool post-processing on the pictures to add overlays, watermarks/logos, vignettes, etc

My name is Doug Ellington & I designed and built my first photo booth in 2010. I live in San Francisco with my wife, Christi, & newborn son, Johnny. For as long as I can remember, it has been my dream to own my own business. I love building things & I have a passion for photography and all things old & rusty. I guess you could say building my own version of a vintage inspired photo booth was in my blood, using (mostly) local materials and supplies.

As business started to pick up, I decided to ask an old friend, Matt Dewalt, to join Photo-matica. I’ve known Matt for 16 years & we ran track together in college. The man is more buttoned up than a pea coat & he ensures that every detail is followed through to perfection. I like to tell Matt he is the brains & I am the brawn of the operation (mostly because it makes him feel good).

There is honestly nothing else either one of us would rather be doing. Our passion for photo booths, our clients, and spreading Photo-matica love is reflected in every one of our events.
